School Mission Statement
Our mission is to encourage the life-long learning of our children through the creation of a nurturing, caring and stimulating environment, where the individual needs of our pupils are respected, encouraged and developed.
School Vision Statement
At InSPE we have a clear vision of what we as a school want our pupils to achieve and represent, both now and in the future.
Our school community is committed to continuing to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment. This environment will require constant evolution according to the needs of the pupils, parents, staff and school as a whole in an ever-changing world. We want our children to have the very best education that we are able to provide. The four capacities, which underpin the Curriculum for Excellence, provide both the foundation stones and also the building blocks from which our present and future values are based upon. These capacities encourage the development of every pupil to enable them to become:
- a succesful learner
- a confident individual
- a responsible citizen
- an effective contributor
The wider curriculum helps shape the teaching and learning which we provide as well as the ethos and the atmosphere of the school. As we strive to shape all pupils at InSPE to be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors we aim to give them the necessary skills to help develop personally and have a positive impact on society – whether this be on a national, international or on a global level. By fostering a society of learners where pupils, teachers and the wider school community continuously self-evaluate what we do, it is our ambition to improve what we offer.
We will continue to promote and celebrate our attainment and achievement – both within and out-with the school. Our ultimate aim is to improve and develop both the life skills and opportunities for all our pupils. In doing this, we will enable them to succeed in all their future endeavours - regardless of age, location or challenges faced.
