"Committed to Lifelong Learning"
When children join the Primary School at InSPE they will be allocated a house team. These teams are named after famous castles in Romania and they have been allocated a colour. These are as follows:
- Rasnov – Red
- Corvin – Yellow
- Peles – Green
- Bran – Blue
Children who have brothers or sisters attending the Primary school will be put in the same house team as each other. At the beginning of each year every pupil will receive a house t-shirt and this should be worn during house events and competitions. If the house t-shirt is lost or damaged then a new one should be bought from the school office.
During the course of the year a range of activities will be organised where the pupils will compete again each other to win house points for their team. As well as being able to win house points from the different activities, pupils can also win house points for good behaviour or work. Each week the house points will be collected, displayed on the house team board and also added to the accumulative score. House captains are chosen from our oldest class are responsible for collecting, calculating and display the house points. At the end of the year a trophy is awarded to the team with the most house points.
