What are we?

FRIENDS of InSPE is an informal group of parents whose main aim is to organise social events for the families of InSPE to help them get to know each other and build friendships.

What do we do?

We organise several social events through the year. Some events are just for parents, for example Wine tasting and Coffee Mornings. Specifically for our children we have organised Easter Egg Hunts and Halloween Parties. Whole families and even the teachers get together for fun events such as the Summer Barbecue.

In addition to organising social events, we also raise money. For example, we produce and sell an InSPE Calendar, we hold raffles and we organise the Winter and Summer Bazaars. For some events, like the BBQ, we sell tickets. We have been very grateful in the past to companies and private individuals who have sponsored our events.

At the Annual Dinner Dance we run the tombola stall which raises money for Casa Ioana, a charity for homeless people.

What do we do with money we raise?

Some of the money we raise is used to support our social activities. In addition, we support our school. For example, ’Friends’ have purchased two interactive white boards and donated cameras for each class. In the past we have bought outdoor playground equipment.

Who are Friends of InSPE?

You and everyone else with children at InSPE.
Look out for posters advertising events and come along to meet other Friends.
